Quick and easy, yummy Mac & Cheese Recipe.

Mac and Cheese is one of my all time favourite meals, I just can't get enough of it. Recently I've had flu and just wanted to eat comfort food but I couldn't be bothered to make mac and cheese, I'm useless at cheese sauce and have to make it about 3 times before I get it right because my cornflour always clumps! So when my gran suggested I use Philadelphia, I couldn't believe how quick it was and how yummy.
I've also included how to make a really quick Garlic Cheese Bread, everyone knows you can't have pasta without Garlic bread! 

What do you need?
- As much pasta as you want (I usually put in about 2 hand fulls if I'm cooking for myself.)
- Milk
- Butter
- Garlic Puree or paste
- Tortilla wraps
- Philadelphia cheese.

First of all boil your pasta, I'm sure you all know how to boil pasta, if not I'll be happy to assist and point you in the right direction. 


Whilst the pasta boils in a bowl mix a knob of butter not a huge one but don't use too little with about a teaspoon of garlic puree or paste. You can add more or less depending on how you like it. Once you've done this place it in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds until its melted. Once melted remove it from the microwave and leave to cool a little. (This is for the super quick and easy garlic bread. Its sort of like the one you get at Frankie and Benny's and Chiquitos.) 

When your pasta is boiled drain it and place it back in the pan. Get your Philadelphia, I usually two tablespoons of cheese and stir it slightly into my pasta on a low heat so it starts to melt.  

Now add about 3/4 a glass of milk, I use a regular glass not a pint glass. You can use more or less depending on how thick you want the sauce. 

Once the cheese has all melted season with salt and pepper to your liking. Pour the pasta into a oven proof dish and grate some cheese and bread crumbs onto a plate or chopping board, this time I used tortilla pieces. 

Sprinkle half of this across the pasta and slightly mix it in the bowl, then sprinkle the rest across the top.
 Now pop this onto the top shelf of a pre-heated oven at 180

Now for the Garlic bread, get one of your tortilla's and spread the garlic and butter mixture across it. Grate a little cheese on the top and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes. (Not long because it cooks really quick.)  Voila a really quick garlic bread.


Now the topping of the pasta just needs to crispen up so whack it under the grill for a few minutes whilst you get your cutlery out and such. 

I like my topping to be extremely crispy. Now serve it up with you're quick garlic bread and enjoy!
