Paul Mitchell Neuro Intelligent Styling Event In Newcastle.

So last Tuesday I was invited along to one of the Gary Hedley Salons in Newcastle for the Paul Mitchell Intelligent Styling Event. First of all I'm going to apologise for the lack of photos as I was far too excited about getting my hair done, I've never been to a salon you see, my mam is a hairdresser so she always styles my hair so I was super giddy with excitement. Before heading to the event I met up with some other bloggers and off we headed to get our hair done! As soon as we arrived at the salon we we received drinks and offered canapes, then after a quick chat with each other we all began to get whisked off to have our hair styled.
For the life of me I cannot remember the lovely ladies name who styled my hair, I had no idea what you're meant to do whilst in the seat but she made me feel relaxed and we had a nice natter. I was told all about the products being used on my hair and, the new range of styling tools called the Neuro Intelligent Styling range, the range has several different tools within it, there are straighteners, a selection of curling wands and a hair dryer. Each of the styling tools have a system where you can set a temperature and the device makes sure it does not go above the required temperature. On my hair the Neuro Unclipped 1.25 Curl Wand was used, this has two heated points in it meaning that the entire section of hair that is being curled gets the maximum temperature unlike with other styling wands where the tip of the wand is a different temperature. The plates of the Curling Wand are also made of Iso Therm Titanium meaning they can reach the top heat of 230 degrees within 30 seconds and it also means you get a smoother curl. Once my hair was curled it was brushed out using a volume teasing brush and I loved how it turned out!
Now I'm going share with you the photos I did take on the evening, mostly of hairstyles but you know.
How amazing does Chloe's, Amy's and Amy's hair look? I loved Amy (Girl in the bowler hat)'s hair, it was so pretty! I loved what was done with mine too, I felt so girly and pretty, I rarely curl it and when I do it's never like how it was styled on Tuesday more like loose grungey waves, this reminded me of the 50s though and I absolutely loved it! I'm going to try my hardest to re-create it. I'm going to have to get me one of the Neuro Curlers no kidding, it looked so simple to use and results were amazing, I still had lush looking hair come Thursday!
This was such a fun event, I really want to do it all over again! A highlight was definitely the topless men wandering around! Haha. Not only did we get our hair done, and oh so many drinks and canapes but we were also given an amazing goodie bag which included some styling cards so we can try out certain looks at home and a bottle of the Express Dry Wash Shampoo which I have already used and love! It smells amazing as does the bottle of Express Dry Strong Hold Hairspray we also received.

I absolutely loved the event it was just what I needed after an awful few days, thank you for inviting me. I loved my first trip to a salon and will definitely be trying out more curling styles at home! I'm probably going to beg for one of the unclipped curl wands for christmas too, because I need my hair to look like that every day! So pretty.
Have you tried any new hair products recently?
