Tuesday Playlist, 17/3/15

So I made a little change to my playlist posts, I'm going to post them whenever I feel like it and I'm not gonna have a ton of songs just 5 that I've found myself singing or humming regularly. I'm also going to include some favourite lyrics from each track! To bring the playlist posts back we have a bit of a mix of genres but hey ho I like a bit of everything it seems!

Irresistible is one of my favourite music videos I've seen for a while to be honest. I really didn't know how I felt about the song when I first heard it because I was all like WHO IS THIS NOT FALL OUT BOY alas I'm now just like oh babies you have made me so proud this is amazing. It's just super catchy although it is so different to old Fall Out Boy as in this is pretty much a pop song but still it's amaze.
Favourite lyrics; Frame me up on your wall just to keep me out of trouble.
Style I actually cannot believe I've started listening to Taylor Swift, who am I? I actually downloaded 1989 and it's so catchy I hate myself for enjoying it. Seriously though she's just so damn catchy so I can get away with it right?
Favourite lyrics; I should just tell you to leave 'cause I know exactly where it leads.
Savior This song takes me right back to being at school, it also reminds me of nights out, every time I heart it I get so excited and want to jump about. The lyrics are so relevant so often, seriously it's just ugh it's a perfect song ok?
Favourite lyrics; So tell me now, if this ain't love then how do we get out? Because I don't know.
The Chain This is a classic and if you disagree with me I'm afraid we can't be friends, I mean seriously who doesn't like the Mac? This song reminds me of a few summers ago where all we really played in the car was Rumours it was like the only album we really agreed on and whenever this song came on we had to put it on proper loud because you know it's just so much better blasting it.
Favourite lyrics; And if you don't love me now, you will never love me again.
Dig Up Her Bones I first heard Misfits when I was about 14 and pretty much got all their albums loved them for a while hit 16 never really listened to them much since. Then a few weeks ago at work they played Dig Up Her Bones cue falling back in love with them. I just really like how this song sounds to be honest there's not a lot else to it.
Favourite lyrics; Point me to the sky above, I can't get there on my own. Walk me to the graveyard, dig up her bones.

So there we have it my first playlist for a long time! Got any music recommendations for me?

  1. I think a lot of us are ashamed of falling under Taylor Swift's spell but there's nothing that can be done about it, she'd just TOO good!
Dig Up Her Bones like the soundtrack to my final university year!
